Sprouted Sage Full Circle Intervention Center
Description:
Applied Behavior Analysis
The Sprouted Sage Day Program provides individualized, strength-based support in a pre-school like setting, offering small-group learning opportunities for children ages 12 months to 7 years. Rooted in neuro-affirming practices, our program prioritizes each child’s unique learning style, communication preferences, and sensory needs. We celebrate neurodiversity by fostering a respectful, inclusive, and child-led approach to intervention.
Our multidisciplinary team includes Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), Classroom Teachers, Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP), and Occupational Therapists (OT), all working collaboratively to provide comprehensive care. Treatment goals are tailored to support functional communication and language development, social reciprocity, adaptive behavior, emotional regulation, play, sensory processing, and fine and gross motor skills—all while honoring the child’s autonomy and natural development.

A Neuro-Affirming Approach in a Naturalistic Learning Environment
What makes Sprouted Sage truly special is our commitment to creating a supportive, engaging, and child-centered environment where children feel safe, understood, and empowered. Our approach moves away from compliance-based methods and instead nurtures intrinsic motivation, self-advocacy, and meaningful social connections.
We believe learning happens best in a setting that mirrors a natural preschool environment, allowing children to explore, interact, and grow at their own pace. Our thoughtfully designed spaces include:
– Indoor learning and gross motor areas that encourage autonomy, community, and hands-on engagement
– A sensory-friendly room designed to support self-regulation and sensory exploration
– A spacious natural playground, promoting movement, creativity, and social connection
Meeting Each Child Where They Are
Children in the Sprouted Sage Day Program are placed in one of four classrooms, with additional access to an individualized learning area whenever extra space is needed. Every aspect of our program is designed to honor the child’s authentic self; fostering confidence, connection, and meaningful progress in a way that aligns with their developmental needs.
Speech & Language Therapy
Children enrolled in the Sprouted Sage Day Program program receive 2 to 4 individualized speech therapy sessions per week, each lasting 30 minutes. Sessions take place in our dedicated speech rooms, where speech-language pathologists (SLPs) provide a neuro-affirming, child-centered, play-based therapy tailored to each child’s unique communication strengths and needs.
In addition to direct therapy, our SLPs collaborate closely with the entire care team during Care Team Meetings, ensuring that communication strategies are integrated seamlessly throughout the child’s day. This approach helps reinforce language development across all environments, supporting functional communication, self-advocacy, and social engagement in a natural and meaningful way.
Occupational Therapy
Children enrolled in the Sprouted Sage Day Program program receive 2 to 4 individualized occupational therapy (OT) sessions per week in our dedicated OT spaces. Our OTs use a neuro-affirming, play-based approach to support each child’s sensory processing, motor development, and daily living skills in a way that feels safe and empowering.
To ensure seamless integration of care, our OTs collaborate closely with the care team during Care Team Meetings, helping to incorporate individualized sensory supports, self-regulation strategies, and motor skill development throughout the child’s daily routines.
Parent & Caregiver Involvement
At Sprouted Sage, we recognize that parent and caregiver involvement is essential to a child’s growth and success. We prioritize collaboration, support, and open communication to ensure families feel empowered and included in the treatment process.
Ongoing Family Collaboration
- BCBA Consultations – Parents/caregivers have the option to schedule consultations with their child’s BCBA to discuss progress, share insights, and learn practical strategies to support their child at home.
- Care Team Meetings – The clinical team working with that specific child meets with parents regularly to review treatment goals, celebrate progress, and adjust supports as needed.
- Flexible Meeting Options – Consultations can take place in person at the center or remotely via Zoom.
Parent Support Group
Parents and caregivers are invited to join our Parent Group, a welcoming space for families to:
- Connect with other caregivers who share similar experiences.
- Strengthen ties to the Sprouted Sage community.
- Discuss challenges and celebrate the joys of parenting.
School Collaboration & Support
At Sprouted Sage, we work closely with each child’s educational team to ensure consistency and success in their school environment. Our team provides:
- Behavioral Plan Development – Creating individualized, strengths-based strategies to support learning and self-regulation.
- IEP Collaboration – Partnering with families and educators to develop meaningful, neuro-affirming IEP goals that align with the child’s needs. Through this collaborative approach, we help bridge the gap between therapy and education, ensuring children receive the support they need to thrive.
