David J. Wartel, Ph.D. is a licensed psychologist. Dr. Wartel has specialized in Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), OCD and other anxiety disorders for over 35 years.  Dr. Wartel is a member of the International Obsessive Compulsive Foundation, the Trichotillomania Learning Center, and the Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies (formally known as the Association for the Advancement of Behavior Therapy). He has presented papers at professional conferences at the Behavior Analysts Association of Michigan, the Detroit Medical Center, and the University of Michigan Medical Center. Dr. Wartel served on the Board of Directors Agoraphobics in Motion from 1990 to 1997.

Doris A. Wartel, M.S. is a limited licensed psychologist. She possesses a Masters of science clinical behavior psychology has specialize in CBT and treatment of OCD and other anxiety disorders for over 25 years.  She is a member of the Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies. Ms. Wartel has treated people suffering from obsessive-compulsive disorder and body focused repetitive behavior since 1988. She has presented to professional conferences and appeared on local talk shows on her work with anxiety and chronic immune function disorders.
