Spectrum Behavioral Consulting
Description:
Now Offering Parent Training and Coaching!
Do you have a child with a unique learning style? Are you struggling with:
how to help your child make friends?
perform in the classroom?
creating a home environment that is more peaceful and enjoyable?
I am a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and Nationally Certified School Psychologist who works with children, adolescents, and young adults who have social, behavioral, and learning challenges. Some have a diagnosis and some do not but all have a unique way of interacting in – and with – the world.
I help individuals develop social and behavioral skills. And I also partner with parents and teachers to generalize these skills so they can be used anywhere. Together, we will identify goals and develop an individual treatment plan to make progress.
My individual sessions are structured and I assemble action-oriented, problem-solving techniques related to each person’s therapeutic goals. I will also incorporate principles of behavior analysis and cognitive behavioral therapy.
In addition to working with individual clients, I love teaching and provide a variety of professional development trainings, workshops, and talks to teachers, parents, and other groups on topics such as autism, behavior modification, social thinking and teaching social behaviors, special education and navigating the school system, and caregiver burnout and stress management.
All of us have special needs, but some of us need special care and a little extra help to become the best version of themselves. Contact me today so we can discuss your child’s unique needs and challenges.
