Piece by Piece Autism Therapy

Description:

Services
Language & Communication
Communication is an important life skill that children learn at a very young age. Unfortunately, it is common for many children with autism to have delays in speech, and difficulty in communicating others. Our ABA Therapy program addresses language and communication in an effort to help children learn to communicate their needs.
Skill Acquisition
A skill acquisition plan is a written plan which is developed by your child’s Behavior Analyst that contains information about behavior programming for the purposes of teaching certain skills.
Behavior Reduction
Behavior reduction is the main point of focus throughout many of our programs. During testing we look at the function of your child’s behavior to determine why they are engaging in this behavior and what replacement behaviors can be introduced.
Parent Training
We strongly believe that our work is successful when the same principles and procedures are generalized across caregivers. We provide parent support to teach these skills to better support your child.
Life Skills
We use ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) techniques to assist in teaching activities of daily living including but not limited to self-care to increase independence.
Toilet Training
Let us help you get out of those diapers! We provide toilet training to help our learners become more independent with their daily living skills.
Fine & Gross Motor Skills
Fine and gross motor skills are an important milestone while learning to participate in many activities in life. Through our personalized ABA therapy program, we pinpoint which developmental skills your child needs in order to complete their daily activities and enjoy life to the fullest. Fine and gross
School Consultation
We absolutely love teaching others about our empirically based interventions. That is why we offer consultations and trainings to schools, therapy facilities, and agencies that are interested in allowing us to share our knowledge and experience.
Vocational Skills
As learners mature and develop, goal setting is an opportune time to consider life and vocational skills. ABA can be used to help learners acquire new skills that help them successfully navigate the world. This can include pre-vocational and vocational skills.
