Northern Transitions, Inc. is a private non-profit Michigan corporation, that provides a wide range of vocational rehabilitation services for individuals with a variety of barriers to employment who reside in the Eastern Upper Peninsula. Services include evaluation, supported employment , community placement and numerous types of employment within the organization for individuals who require a high level of continued support.
Mission Statement: Providing opportunities through employment, training and education to individuals overcoming barriers so they may self-determine their role in the community.
Northern Transitions, Inc. is a Community Rehabilitation Provider offering employment, training, job development and placement services to persons with disabilities in Michigan’s Eastern Upper Peninsula.
Individuals may be referred by behavioral health, rehabilitation, social service, educational service providers or insurance companies. Self referrals are also accepted as long as a funding source can be identified. We will help you locate a funding source.
Northern Transitions, Inc. is an accepted Employment Network, registered with Social Security to provide Ticket-to-Work services.
Admission is first-come first-served based on date of receipt of all application data.
