Little Mittens Autism Center

Description:

We are here to help you and your child succeed!
Our services are tailored to each individual family and may include one or more of the components listed below.  We would love to help you navigate our services and determine what would be most beneficial to you and your family.  For more detailed information, or to find out how these services can be incorporated into your life, contact us!
Early Intervention 1:1
Your child will work one-on-one with a trained behavior technician on individualized goals.  Targeted goals may include increasing communication, social skills, self-help skills, age-appropriate play/leisure skills, and reducing challenging behavior.
Home Based services
Our skilled technicians and Board Certified Behavior Analysts will provide services directly in your home.  This will give your family the opportunity to observe and interact in sessions, as well as target skills in the home environment.
Parent Training (Telehealth options available!)
We offer individual and group parent trainings with a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).  Parent trainings are available in-person and online.  During these trainings, a BCBA will cover topics such as functions of behavior, how to work on skills in the home/community, and how to connect with your child.
Toilet Training
Our trained staff will work directly with families to meet your child’s toilet training needs.  We will tailor our protocol to your child’s skill level, as well as teach you techniques along the way to support your child through their toileting journey.
Community Outings
These events are a fun way to connect with your local community and engage with other families!  During these outings, your child will have the opportunity to practice real-world skills in a supported environment.
Social Skills Groups – Coming Soon!
Give your child the chance to interact with same age peers and develop peer-relationship skills.  We will help your child navigate social interactions and develop the skills to maintain lifelong friendships.
