Welcome to the Forward Motion Coaching Web site. My name is Barbara Bissonnette, and since 2006 I have specialized in job and career development coaching for individuals with Asperger’s Syndrome (and similar autism spectrum profiles), and Nonverbal Learning Disorder. I also offer consultations for parents, training for professionals and services for employers.

As your coach, I provide the support, strategies, and tools that you need to: choose the right job or career … manage the job search process … learn interview skills … handle a disciplinary action … communicate with colleagues … meet employer expectations … plan a disclosure strategy … manage time, priorities and deadlines.

Together, we establish your goals and devise a step-by-step action plan for achieving them. We clarify your skills and abilities and explore how to make the most of your strengths. Additionally, we develop a practical plan for addressing challenges so that you can achieve your goals. Sessions are available in person in Massachusetts or nationwide via telephone or Skype. Consultations offer objective feedback on options for post-secondary education and employment. In addition to a history of your son or daughter, services can include a review of educational or neuropsychological evaluations. You receive candid, practical suggestions based on my experience coaching hundreds of individuals with Asperger’s and NLD. Learn more.
