Drive Focus

Description:

The Divergent Adventure Club exists to empower neurodiverse individuals to succeed in the world we live in.  We believe that in order to be successful a critical component is mobility.  Mobility is critical for our education, work, and social well-being. In most places, mobility means driving.  Drive Focus is the research backed application that can help improve outcomes when it comes to driving success and safety.

  • Get ready to watch immersive HD videos, from the driver’s point of view
  • Improve your ability to notice and react to real-life driving situations, boosting your confidence behind the wheel
  • Provides detailed scoring to document your progress, allowing you to evaluate your skills at every step

About Mobility and Driving

We are doing everything we can to enable people who want to drive, to drive safely. As part of this goal we have determined that three groups in particular can benefit from our application.
1) Prospective drivers
While any prospective driver can benefit from Drive Focus we have a particular affinity towards teen drivers. We know that teens are more likely to be involved in crashes than any other group. As new drivers, they do not have the experience to know what information to focus on while driving. Published studies show that Drive Focus can help teen drivers be safe successful drivers. Beyond is now part of the curriculum at driving schools throughout the U.S. and Canada.
2) Persons with Medical Conditions

Occupational therapists that work with individuals with challenges such as autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, stroke, and traumatic brain injury report that Drive Focus aids the training and retraining process. Drive Focus is a great motivator for visual and cognitive training.

3) Combat Veterans
Drive Focus originated from work with combat veterans returning from overseas deployment. The great observational skills and hyper-alertness that keep soldiers safe in theater can work against them for civilian driving.  Drive Focus may help retrain awareness for civilian driving.
In addition to Drive Focus we also offer classes in technology, efficiency and various Google products as part of our partnership with Grow with Google.  One of the chief benefits of this partnership is the ability to offer scholarships to Google Career Certificates.  Google Career Certificates — Divergent Adventure Club
Our motto is Empower, Elevate, Dominate.  It’s not enough that we provide accommodations but that we provide a way for everyone to reach their highest level of success in a way that they best see fit.
