Community Enterprises of St. Clair County

Description:

At Community Enterprises of St. Clair County, the skills and supports we give to participants enhance and encourage independence, productivity, community participation and inclusion. We provide real work experiences such as assembly and manufacturing, electronics recycling janitorial, kitchen, clerical and program aides and shredding. Participation in work activity, although a challenge, will become a new source of income for you so that you can support yourself and buy the things you need and want.
Other individuals choose our Supported Employment Program or our Micro-Enterprise Program. We also offer Community Based Skill Building sites to give you a taste of community employment and help you gain the skills you will need to be successful in the community! Our intention is to find your unique qualities and match you with a service that fits you!
If you decide to participate in learning new skills that encourage community inclusion and participation you may like to try some Enriching Community Life classes. These classes will give you the opportunity to explore, learn and participate in classes and subjects that are important to you! We offer day and evening activities to meet your needs and to work around your schedule. Classes change every six months and you will have many to choose from.
We also provide a blend of in-house and community activities in our Lifeskills program for those who do not desire to be in the community a full day or who have more significant health needs. Our staff in this area are able to perform personal care services along with MOVE services to fit your needs. It is important to try new things along the way at Community Enterprises. We are very flexible and want you to participate in any of the services we offer. We are committed to supporting you in your endeavors of a life meaningful to YOU!
