I do representation of parents and children with ASD in special education and expulsion matters. I currently handle those cases and consult with parents and represent them and their children with ASD  at IEPs, MDRs, and Due Process Hearings.

I was a special education hearing officer listed with the MI Department of Education  and wrote 21 opinions in due process hearings until 2006 when the system changed to full time administrative law judges.  I have taken special education courses at WSU in the College of Education including  Positive Behavior Supports.  I have a special interest in ASD and have taken various short courses on ASD and read books and articles on ASD.

I am a private attorney, and I do charge for my legal services.  I am currently listed on the attorney referral list of Michigan Disability Rights.
