All for Oxford Resiliency Center
Description:
Who we Are
All for Oxford is managed by Common Ground and funded by The State of Michigan through a grant by the Federal Antiterrorism and Emergency Assistance Program. Our staff is local to the Oxford Community and is committed to the long-term healing of their neighbors.
Mission
The creation of All for Oxford was guided by the Oxford Community, for the Oxford community. Our center is devoted to promoting mental and emotional wellbeing by providing opportunities for people to come together, find support, restore the community’s sense of safety and security, and help each other heal.
Compassion
We will observe, listen, work to understand and assist the Oxford community in their healing path
Acceptance
We will meet every person who walks through our doors right where they are, understanding that emotions born from trauma will be strong at times and can run the full range. We will listen to those feelings and will never be judgmental or dismissive.
Integrity
We will honor our commitment to the Oxford community by doing everything within our power to live up to expectations and strive to do the right thing always.
Growth
We will embrace opportunities to learn and improve as grieving and healing are processes that never follow a straight and predictable line.
Collaboration
Many organizations and individuals stepped up to help Oxford in the wake of the tragic shooting. We are committed to collaborating with all parties to provide and connect comprehensive support to the community.
