Adult Learning Systems-U.P. is a not for profit agency centered around the idea that every adult has the right to an education and to be a participating member of his or her community. ALS-UP, founded in 1998, provides the framework needed to move these rights into the reality of daily living for adults with disabilities.

- Supported Independent Programs & Respite Programs
We attribute the effectiveness of our programs to the high standards of care we offer the consumers we serve and to the emphasis we place on the following components of our programs:
- Individual choice
- A homey atmosphere centered around individual needs & personal preferences
- 24 hour personal care determined by the needs of each individual we serve
- Guidance to obtain financial independence through community employment and government entitlements
