Action Potential Neuropsychological Services

Description:

Action Potential Neuropsychological Services provides comprehensive, strengths-based autism evaluations for children, adolescents, and adults in Oakland County and the greater Metro Detroit area. Evaluations are designed to provide diagnostic clarity while helping families understand how an individual learns, communicates, and functions in everyday life.

Assessments integrate developmental history, standardized testing, and direct observation to understand both strengths and areas of need. Reports include practical, individualized recommendations that support home, school, and community functioning and can be used for school planning and accommodations when appropriate.

In addition to evaluations, Dr. Elise Pilchak provides Pivotal Response Treatment (PRT), a structured, evidence-based intervention designed to support language development, motivation, and social communication in children on the autism spectrum. Ongoing virtual parent support groups are also offered to help caregivers better understand autism and build practical strategies for daily life.

Dr. Pilchak specializes in autism, ADHD, executive functioning, learning differences, and twice-exceptional (2e) profiles. Services are private pay, with optional support available for out-of-network reimbursement.
