Understanding IEPs

This workshop will help you better understand the parts
of the Individualized Education Program (IEP) and how
parents can prepare for the meeting.
• The present level of academic achievement and
functional performance (PLAAFP) statement
• Writing measurable goals and objectives
• Support services
• Plan implementation
Our goal is to help you understand how the IEP
components work together. There will also be time to ask
questions.
Who should attend? Families with a child or young adult
with a disability or learning challenge.
