It’s time to hit the road again, and what better destination than Washington, D.C.? Spring is the perfect season to visit our nation’s capital, with cherry blossoms in full bloom. We’ll explore iconic monuments, catch a show, and visit the Smithsonian museums. Plus, we’ll make a fun stop halfway there and back to break up the journey!

- Transportation Mode: Large Vans & Public Transportation
- Trip Cost: $2,400.00
- Non-refundable Deposit: $600.00 due by 3/07/25
- Balance: Remaining $1,800.00 due by 3/28/25
PARTICIPANT ELIGIBILITY:
- Age 18+
- Successful in a 1:3 staff-to-traveler ratio
- Able to follow directions for sticking with the group
- No aggressive behaviors
- No disruptive behaviors (yelling, purposefully antagonizing, etc.)
- Willing to participate in activities
- Independent or needing minimal assistance with personal care and ADLs
- Ambulatory or able to easily pivot, transfer, or walk with minimal assistance
- Able to get in and out of any mode of transportation during trips (modes of transportation vary from trip to trip)
- Travelers who are new to The Fowler Center may need to meet with Administrative staff before confirmation of the trip in order to assure proper placement.
