ACMH Annual Conference

November 9, 2022 @ 9:00 am - 4:00 pm

It’s been almost 3 years since we last joined together…so we at ACMH are thrilled to announce the in-person return of the ACMH Fall Annual Conference! This year’s conference theme is “We Shall Overcome: Advocacy to Activism” which seemed a fitting call to action as we gather back together amid a national crisis in children’s mental health. Indeed, the need to stand together to more effectively meet the needs of children, youth, and young adults with emotional, behavioral and mental health challenges in our state is great. The problems we face are not all new and solving them will not be easy. It will take time, dedication, the perseverance of many and the expertise of all of us especially that of youth and families whose lived experience likely holds the key to real and long-lasting change. We Shall Overcome has become a civil rights anthem used across the world for over 50 years, but it began as a folk and grass roots work song. So we invite you to join us as we roll up our sleeves and get to work. The ACMH conference was created as a venue for families, youth and  professionals to join together and learn alongside and from another so what better place for us to start. We would love to have join us as a participant and/or as a presenter at this year’s event!

Conference registration is once again a bargain at only $40.00 and family, youth/young adult scholarships will be available for parents/caregivers and youth aged 15 and up.

To request a scholarship simply select the Family/Youth Scholarship Ticket in the booking form at the bottom of this page and then under payment options select Request a Family/Youth Scholarship or Pay later by check. Once your scholarship is approved you will receive a confirmation email with additional details.

If you are interested in sharing your expertise as a presenter at this year’s conference simply download and submit a proposal here: Requests for Presentations. **This year’s event is all about coming up with ideas on how to collectively improve things for kids and families and then moving them into action, so proposals that include or partner with an individual or individuals with lived experience will be given preference in selection.

We hope to see you all in November!
