Work and Play Disability Community Center
Description:
The Work and Play Disability Community Center provides a central location for therapy, gatherings, and information for those with developmental disabilities of all ages and their caregivers. Think of us as a hub for the special needs community. Having a resource center simplifies access to things needed to care for someone with developmental disabilities, which is desperately needed in an often complicated life with a child with special needs.
Work and Play Center is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing a safe and supportive environment for individuals with special needs. The center is run by a diverse group of volunteers that includes professionals, special needs parents, and community members who are passionate about helping individuals with special needs reach their full potential.
We provide a variety of programs and activities tailored to meet the individual needs of our participants, with the goal of enabling them to become more independent and self-sufficient. We strive to create a community that values inclusion and respects the individual differences of all its members.
