Autism Family Network
Description:
Autism Family Network is a Michigan nonprofit 501(c)3 organization formed for the purpose of supporting, providing opportunities for and raising awareness of individuals who have autism and their families.
We offer a variety of programs for our families:
- Parent Seminars are currently offered throughout the school year to educate parents and family members on a variety of autism-related topics.
- Family Fun Events are scheduled monthly to give families affected by autism a chance to get out and have fun together in an autism-friendly environment.
- Support Groups allow parents to have conversations with other parents on a similar path.
- An e-newsletter is sent regularly to keep our families up-to-date on upcoming parent seminars, family fun events, and grant opportunities.
- Family / Teacher Grants are offered throughout the year. Grant applications for education, therapy, or equipment are available as needed.
- Our Lending library provides a variety of materials for our families and to check out and use as needed.
