United We Smile is a free dental center for children 21 and under, pregnant women, veterans, and those with intellectual or developmental disabilities. This is a teaching facility where dental interns from U of M are required to learn how to provide comprehensive dental care for those that other dentists have turned away, as part of our mission to improve access to care for future generations.

We believe that everyone deserves to access quality dental care and that more healthcare providers should be better trained so they are comfortable and knowledgeable in treating patients with personalized healthcare needs. So far, in the first 6 months of being open, we’ve provided over $680,000 in free dental care and we are proud to announce that dentists are now graduating with the skills needed to be able to treat these unserved patients.
