The Family Center

Description:

THE FAMILY CENTER is a non-profit organization with a mission to help build happier, healthier families.

We are dedicated to helping families grow stronger, more resilient, and connected to their community by providing free programs and resources that empower, guide, uplift and engage families through every age and stage.

The Family Center coordinates the Special Needs Resource Alliance – a collaboration of local non-profit organizations, school systems and service providers who work together to offer exceptional support for individuals with special needs in Southeast Michigan, sharing the goals of embracing, supporting and developing social and educational opportunities for individuals with special needs and their families. Together, we host parent workshops through the year and an annual resource fair in February.

The Special Needs Resource Fair is free and designed for parents and caregivers looking for supportive opportunities for their neuro-diverse children. The Fair features over 50 vendors including a wide variety of educational, recreational, and occupational resources along with mental health, legal, and government services for all ages.
