Rochester Housing Solutions (RHS) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to creating neuro-inclusive communities for adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD). Founded in 2021 by families seeking long-term housing solutions for their loved ones, RHS is pioneering integrated neighborhoods where individuals with IDD can live independently, own homes, and build meaningful connections with neurotypical neighbors.

Partnering with Three Oaks Communities (TOC), RHS is developing Walton Oaks and Auburn Oaks, two innovative housing projects in Oakland County, Michigan. These communities offer a mix of single-family homes, condominiums, and townhomes, ensuring that residents with IDD have choice, stability, and social inclusion.

Beyond housing, RHS provides essential support services, training, and social programming, including roommate-matching events, skills assessments, and benefit navigation. A dedicated Community Builder in each neighborhood fosters friendships and organizes activities to strengthen the sense of belonging.

By combining housing, community, and lifelong support, RHS is redefining what it means to create inclusive, vibrant living spaces where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.
