LifeSpan…A Community Service is a private, not-for-profit organization whose purpose is to provide residential and community support services for children through adults with mental and/or physical disabilities.
LifeSpan exists to assist people in achieving and maintaining their personal goals and individual growth within a culture of gentleness.
We provide viable community living alternatives to people with disabilities.
We assist people in recognizing and pursuing their dreams to live as they wish in their homes and be an active part of their community.
We encourage people to pursue activities that hold meaning for them, including volunteer or competitively paid employment.
LifeSpan programs are accredited through CARF – The Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities. CARF is an international private, non-profit organization that evaluates LifeSpan services through the accreditation process which centers on enhancing the lives of persons served. CARF’s mission promotes the quality, value, and optimal outcomes of services through a consultative accreditation process and continuous improvement of services.
LifeSpan has been accredited by CARF since 2001. Current accredited services:
Community Housing, Community Employment Services: Job Development & Employment Services, Supported Living, Community Integration and Respite Services.
