Jackson County ISD’s Camp McYack

This unique camp is available for parents and children who use an augmentative device to communicate. Parents have the opportunity to meet with other parents to discuss concerns in a supportive environment. In addition, technical support from the Dynavox and PRC company reps are available to provide programming needs and discuss transition goals. Parent surveys indicate an overwhelmingly positive experience with the service and support provided by Camp McYack. This camp is funded by the JCISD, Dynavox Technologies, PRC and donations from local companies such as Liberty Township Fire Department, Omni Source, Krupa’s Boat Mart and Premiere Sports to name a few.
