Bridges Development Center

Description:

Bridges Development Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and therapeutic preschool for neurodivergent children ages 2.5-6 years in Farmington Hills. Our mission is to inspire the growth of neurodivergent children through a child-led, strengths-based approach in a nurturing and therapeutic environment.

Our Model

  • Strengths-Based & Play-Focused: We build upon children’s natural interests to foster growth in communication, social-emotional development, and self-advocacy.
  • Therapist-Embedded Classrooms: Our model is unique and includes occupational and speech therapists who collaborate with teachers to support development and growth.
  • Family Partnership: We believe parents are the experts on their children. Through ongoing communication and parent education, we partner with families to co-create goals and strategies.
  • Inclusion & Community Impact: We offer coaching and consulting services to local preschools to promote inclusive practices, ensuring more children have access to supportive learning environments.
