Delian Club Day Retreat for Autistic Adults

THE DELIAN CLUB IS HOSTING A FREE DAY RETREAT!
The Delian Club provides in-person social events exclusively for autistic adults with intellectual or artistic interests.

We are pleased to announce a FREE whole day retreat. The retreat will take place on August 2, 2025 at the Woodlands of Bruin Lake, a rustic campground and woods in Gregory, Michigan.

SPEND A FULL DAY EXCLUSIVELY IN THE COMPANY OF OTHER INTELLECTUALLY MINDED AUTISTIC ADULTS.

This FREE Retreat will feature presentations, small group discussions and fun activities. We will hear from published autistic academics, and there will also be optional group discussions on topics ranging from autistic dating to how the current political climate affects us. Fun activities will include hiking on the Potawatomi Trail, a yoga session, tea tasting, Dungeons and Dragons, tabletop games, and more! We will even have a platonic Special Interest Speed Dating session, in which participants learn about each other’s special interests.

Participation in activities is voluntary. There will be unstructured socializing opportunities, and a quiet respite space will be available at all times. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner will be provided.

This Retreat was 100 % designed and will be delivered by autistic adults. Only autistic adults may attend. Family and caretakers may not attend unless they are autistic. Autistic adults have described the experience of socializing in all-autistic company as transformative and happy. We are hoping to achieve this for our participants.

The Retreat is not a drop-off center, and we cannot provide medical or social services. All participants must be responsible for their own care and safety.
