On Board with Autism

Over the last several years, AAoM has worked to build a continued relationship with Delta Airlines in presenting our On Board with Autism event.

This event gives individuals and families an opportunity to experience an adapted airport/airplane simulation. It takes place at the Detroit Metro Airport (DTW). It has offered attendees the experience of checking in to various areas of the terminal, and entering an airplane through pre-flight tasks. It is a valuable activity intended for those who are planning to travel via airplane, and want to have the chance to prepare for what can be a very unexpected, and challenging time.
