Our participants come from Washtenaw and surrounding counties. They range in age from 4 years old into their 90’s and have a wide variety of disabilities or other challenges.
TRI’s mission is to provide a therapeutic environment through horseback riding and other activities for people with disabilities or other challenges.
We offer many types of equine assisted activities year-round. Please visit Our Services page to learn more about the opportunities we provide.
VOLUNTEERS
TRI relies on the hard work and dedication of our team of 200+ specially-trained volunteers. Please visit our Volunteering page to learn more about our opportunities.
INSTRUCTORS
All TRI instructors are equine professionals are are certified by PATH, International. Please visit our Staff page to learn more about their credentials.
FEES
TRI is committed to keeping the cost as low as possible for riders.  Fees account for less than 25% of the actual costs of the lessons. No-one is ever turned away due to an inability to pay.  Riders with financial need can request support from TRI’s Scholarship Fund.
In order to keep our fees affordable, we rely on donations from the community. To learn more about how to donate to TRI to help us in our mission, please visit our Donate page.
