What is the Meeting About?
If you are a parent of a child with special needs who will require your support
and assistance past the age of 18, you don’t want to miss this opportunity to hear
from Judge Lisa Sullivan on how best to prepare and work with the Clinton
County Probate Court to transition your son or daughter into adult guardianship.
Learn more about what court paperwork is required, when to file such paperwork,
and what support and services are available to help you with this transition.
Judge Sullivan will review the guardianship process, explain the different types of
legal guardianship, and discuss other alternatives available to parents. She will
also be available to answer questions.
