Autism Asperger Associates of Michigan is a comprehensive organization that is designed to support children, adolescents and adults with autism and Asperger Syndrome. Their goal is to work with individuals and families to create quality of life for today and tomorrow, through education, understanding and support in their goals.

Structured teaching techniques for home and community; Visual strategies for Communication; “Fantastic Fathers”, workshops to explore the role of fathers and their unique relationships with their children with autism and Aspergers; Grandparents and their role in the larger family unit; Sibling support fun days; Fun activity-based days for siblings of children with special needs; Building positive relationships with schools; Moms Matter”, learning to manage stress, avoid burnout and coming to peace with themselves and how they parent; How to apply positive behavior support strategies to family outings in the community; “Come and Play Days”, toy exploration to build skills and enhance family relationship; Thinking of home schooling; Learn how to create an appropriate program that is designed around the unique needs of the child; “Parents as Coaches” applying the coaching model to social skills.
