Autism Alliance of Michigan’s Anthony Ianni visited Mumford High School in Detroit on his tour of schools across Michigan. Anthony was joined by former Pistons star, Earl Cureton and Citgo’s Fueling the Good team. Anthony, Earl and the Citgo crew reinforced the message of putting an end to bullying.
Anthony told his personal story of how he over came the stereotypes associated with his autism to achieve success playing basketball at Michigan State. After school, Citgo invited several Mumford HS students who have Autism Spectrum Disorder to join them at a Detroit Tigers baseball game.
