Michigan Pedaler Staff Gives Back to Autism Alliance of Michigan
It’s that time of year—the giving season. As everyone is hustling to get ready for the holidays, it’s also a great time to give back. Autism Alliance of Michigan is thankful to have amazing support throughout the community.
If you have been to Detroit recently, you may have noticed a blue and orange bike-like contraption full of enthusiastic people exploring the city. This is the Michigan Pedaler–a party bike that accommodates up to 15 riders for pub-crawls, cycle tours, dinner progressives and more throughout the Downtown, Midtown and Corktown areas of Detroit. This holiday season, Mike Gill (Chief Fun Operator) and Chris Sefcheck contacted AAoM with a nice surprise.
Due to his love for Detroit and showing people the city, Chris approached The Michigan Pedaler about volunteering and serving as a driver. The Michigan Pedaler accepted the offer and agreed to make charitable contributions to charities of Chris’ choosing. Chris chose the Autism Alliance of Michigan as a beneficiary and invited us out to Campus Martius for the most picturesque check presentation.
Thank you to Chris and the Michigan Pedaler for your support of the autism community in Michigan and for your dedication to the city of Detroit.
