Sierra Adaptive Gymnastics & Cheer

SAGC offers adaptive gymnastics classes for boys and girls ages 3-11 within the neurodivergent community. Our adaptive gymnastics class is created exclusively for children with a developmental/intellectual disability. The class centers around stations inspired by the 4 Olympic events: bars, beam, trampoline/vault, and floor exercise; promoting balance, group skills, motor skills, expending energy and gaining sensory input.

All gymnastics skills taught in the class are adapted to the individual needs of the athlete at any given moment. A sensory break is provided in the middle of each class that includes dimming the lights, playing calming music, and resting near mood lighting. Over half of our gymnasts are non-vocal, and all coaches are trained to work with the unique needs of our athletes.

Our West Bloomfield location is at SWAG Kids Gym (7306 Haggerty Rd) and classes are on Wednesdays from 5:45pm-6:30pm.
