Attendees can choose which topics they wish to participate in within this series. All topics are offered twice on each date.

  • Topic: Leveraging the Use of Graphic Organizers for Inclusive Class Engagement
    • Date: May 2, 2024

    • Description: Graphic organizers are visual thinking tools. Discover how to use graphic organizers as a universal support for engagement. Learn the purposes of specific graphic organizers and how to use them for maximum benefit for all students.
  • Topic:  Classwide Student Independence through Universal Use of Task Analysis
    • Date: May 16, 2024
    • Times: 8:00 – 8:30 a.m. or 3:00 – 3:30 p.m.
    • Description: Learn how to support all students in understanding and following instructional expectations by using task analysis as a universal support throughout the school year. Explore a variety of examples and take away adaptable templates to create your own. Learn how to incorporate task analysis in designing your lesson so mini schedules are available to anyone!
  • Topic:  Three Inclusive Ready-Made Whole Class Connecters
    • Date: May 30, 2024
    • Times: 8:00 – 8:30 a.m. or 3:00 – 3:30 p.m.
    • Description: Creating an inclusive environment takes intentionality. Discover three connector activities that can be done with your class that are designed for all students in mind. Use these examples to adapt your own activities as you set the stage for optimal participation and belonging.
