FALCONERS June 2023 Potter Park Zoo

FALCONERS is designed to allow children or adults of all ages with special needs and unique challenges (such as autism or developmental disabilities) and their whole family to have an enriching educational experience in a safe, welcoming and sensory friendly environment.
This is an after hours event – only FALCONERS families will be allowed in the zoo. By registering you can come in anytime between 5:00 – 7:30 pm. The event (and all activities) will shut down and all will need to be out of the zoo by 8 pm. So if you come at 7:30 pm, please note you will only have 30 minutes to walk the zoo.
The theme for this event is Nature Play and the activities were designed by our Winter Conservation Education Interns! There will be a couple of activities, a craft and snacks as usual. Please be in the zoo early enough to walk through the zoo to reach all of the activities… If you plan to do them. Specific details will be sent the week before the event to those that register.
