The Autism Alliance of Michigan is proud to announce their new partnership with Ford Arts, Beats & Eats taking place in downtown Royal Oak from Friday, August 31st to Monday, September 3rd. Now in its 15th year, this event will offer more than 200 performances on ten stages, a highly ranked Fine Arts Show, local restaurants with premium cuisine from metro Detroit and international, regional and local attractions.
Inclusive Family Package
This year, a special family package is being offered. On Saturday, September 1st and Monday, September 3rd, Michigan families who have children with autism are being given an Inclusive Family Package. Through an application process, these families will be given complimentary parking, rides, carnival games, and lunch. They will also be given free early admission to avoid the crowds, noise and over-stimulation.

Volunteer Opportunites
Due to our relationship as community partners, we are extending these packages to your families. Our goal is to make large community events like Ford Arts, Beats & Eats inclusive for all families. In order to do this, we are actively training all the security, event staff and carnival managers in autism safety. We are also creating autism info cards for all the art booths, caterers, and first aid tents. In addition, we are reaching out to the autism community as a whole, especially trained therapist, teachers and doctors, to help volunteer on these days.
