About Safety

• To date over 3,500 law enforcement, Fire/Rescue/EMS officials, educators, transportation personnel, community members, families, and other groups have been trained in autism safety management
• Presentations are scheduled into 2013 for continued training on autism safety
• AAOM will be targeting educational facilities and promoting an anti-bullying campaign, which impacts others with disabilities, and children in general.
• Mid-Michigan Autism has been very active in pursuing new audiences for whom to convey the safety message and assisting in presenting the safety material
